Forbes magazine has released 100 most powerful women list of 2017. 8th march is celebrated as International Women’s Day. Five Indian women enumerated on this list from different fields like banking, technology, healthcare, media and also rom entertainment. Let’s have a look on five women who made it to Worlds Top 100 Most Powerful Women List.

Chanda Kochhar

She is the CEO-Managing Director of ICICI Bank. Magazine listed her at 32nd position among top hundred. She became the first Indian woman to get Woodrow Wilson Award for Global Citizenship.




Roshni Nadar Malhotra

The CEO of HCL Technologies, Roshni Nadar Malhotra bags 57th position in the list. She takes the strategic decisions of the enterprise which works in Information technologies, healthcare etc. She is also the trustee of Shiv Nadar Foundation which works in education sector.


Kiren Mazumdar Shaw

She is at 71st position in the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. She is also the owner of the Asia’s largest insulin producer company. She is the founder-chairperson of the biopharma company Biocon. Biocon founded in 1978 makes generics for diabetics and cancer among others.







Shobhana Bhartia

She bags the 92nd position in the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. She is the Chairperson of HT Media, publisher of Hindustan Times and Mint, operates four FM stations, job portal Shine and cinema portal Desimartini.





Priyanka Chopra

The actress made it at 97th position in the list. She is one of the successful actresses who works both in Bollywood and Hollywood. She is the founder of Purple Pebble Picture, which promotes regional filmmakers and upcoming Indian talent. She is the Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF global and United Nations Foundations Girl Up Champion
